Build sprawling cities, invest in cultural progress and forge alliances — or wage war. The world is yours to lead in this classic strategy game.

Originally created by legendary game designer Sid Meier, "Civilization" is a turn-based strategy game in which you go head-to-head with history's greatest leaders as you build an empire to stand the test of time. Whether you're brand new to turn-based strategy or a seasoned 4X expert, this vast tactical world-building game gives you the tools to start a civilization and guide it from the first Stone Age settlement to the stars.

With this version of "Civilization VI," Netflix members have access to all expansion packs and content included in the Platinum Edition of the game. The only thing you need to establish a legendary empire is time and a finely honed strategy.

FROM VILLAGES TO KINGDOMS

• Develop each city into a bustling metropolis, turn by turn and tile by tile. Build improvements, districts and wonders to make strategic use of resources nearby; train new units to defend your territory and explore the world around you.

• As your empire expands, choose the right scientific and civic advances to fuel growth, increase your political influence and give you an edge against regional rivals in trade or war.

MANY PATHS TO VICTORY

• Forge lasting power as you build your civilization through the centuries, from a medieval kingdom to a modern superpower.

• With multiple ways to win, every strategy is viable: Will you battle it out for military dominance? Avoid war through clever diplomacy? Or focus on resource management to leap ahead in technological discovery?

A WORLD OF POSSIBILITIES

• This Netflix edition of the award-winning 4X strategy game includes the "Rise and Fall" and "Gathering Storm" expansions, plus more content packs that open up new regions and cultures. With a huge array of civilizations and scenarios to choose from, rewrite history however you want to.

• Play alone, with up to four players in local multiplayer mode, or with up to six in hotseat mode on the same device.
